Alain Brumont's Gascogne range will win you over with their exotic fruity aromas. They are exceptionally fresh and "clean".
Dry white Côtes de Gascogne Gros Manseng - Sauvignon Blanc blend.

Bob Campbell said of vintage 2007 “Appealing wine with plenty of melon, apple and citrus fruit characters. It's not as searingly dry as many French white wines and can be enjoyed with or without food. Nicely balanced wine with character. Excellent value at this price.”
A refined and complex Sauvignon Blanc blend. More subtle than the average SB and delightful for that. Try this quality Gascogne that has a convincing additional dimension, making it a complex and harmonious wine. The fullness and freshness on the palate is the result of the blend between the structure and freshness of the Gros Manseng and the aromas and nobleness of the Sauvignon Blanc.
Food Pairing - White Meat, Fish, Charcuterie, Shellfish, Aperitif. I'm told this wine is sensational with Zucchini flowers stuffed with Ricotta, Olive and Lemon.
To enjoy this wine at its best remove it from the fridge 30 minutes before drinking. 12% alcohol
It has even been compared to a Sancerre. Sancerre is the spiritual home of Sauvignon Blanc in the eastern Loire Valley.
Another original wine in Alain Brumont's Gascogne range. Brumont is exceptionally innovative and in Gascogne, a true Eldorado of new terroirs, Alain found what he was looking for, an area where he could produce a range of convivial and full wines at excellent value for money.
